I think it’d be unlikely that this could occur for a first time player but I’m adding this first spoiler tag that suggests one thing you shouldn’t do. ![]() Many players are reporting it’s actually possible to miss the triggering event that unlocks the Scythedancer. The story event actually grants you an existing Scythedancer, however, to get the achievement to pop you must Germinate a new one. The achievement should immediately pop as soon as you confirm the class selection. Simply, do what you do create any new Daughter, go to your Inner Void and Germinate a new Daughter, then assign her the Scythedancer class. This can be done anytime after you’ve obtained the Scythedancer via the story. Note: The class is actually called the Scythedancer, not the Scythebearer, so I’m not sure why the description reads as it does (perhaps Scythebearer was a name during beta, no idea).
